Located right next to the Research Services desk, this is a resource-rich environment and a great place to work on research writing. Here, you can work with one of our writing consultants, and research librarians are also nearby to help with any questions about finding or locating source materials.

The Templeton Writing Center is operated by the English Department and open for all student-athletes. Its operation is made possible by the generous assistance of Mississippi State University Athletic Academics.

The Writing Center has computers, style manuals, dictionaries, writing guides, composition textbooks, and various handouts on citation and self-editing available as resources. The staff is a mixture of trained peer consultants, graduate teaching assistants and composition faculty from the English Department. Online appointment options are also available during our regular business hours at this location.
